Frequently asked questions

Do you offer videography in Albuquerque?

Yes. I am a professional videographer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I provide commercial, corporate, branded documentary, event, and wedding videography throughout Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and the surrounding areas. I also travel anywhere in the United States for projects if clients cover the rate.

What kinds of videography do you specialize in?

I specialize in cinematic branded documentaries and corporate videos. These projects allow me to bring storytelling and filmmaking techniques to businesses and organizations. I also film commercials, promotional videos, training videos, event coverage, weddings, broadcast content, and live streaming productions.

Do you provide wedding videography in Albuquerque?

Yes, I do film weddings. While weddings are not my main focus, I capture them with the same cinematic, storytelling-driven style I bring to my corporate and commercial work. Clients can expect a professional wedding film that feels polished and timeless.

Can you travel outside Albuquerque for videography?

Yes. While I am based in Albuquerque, I frequently travel for shoots. I work with clients across New Mexico and can travel anywhere in the United States if needed. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance and scope of the project.

What makes your videography different from others in Albuquerque?

I am not a photographer who does video on the side. My background is in professional filmmaking, and I am an award-winning filmmaker with training in documentary and narrative production. I bring a cinematic, storytelling-first approach to every project, along with my own professional equipment. This makes me a one-stop shop for videography. I film, edit, color, and deliver the final product without needing to outsource to others.

Do you come with equipment?

Yes. I provide my own cinema camera, professional audio gear, lighting, and all the tools needed to deliver high-quality video. My setup is stronger than what many entry-level videographers or hybrid photographer-videographers offer. Clients do not need to worry about renting additional equipment unless a project requires highly specialized gear.

Do you bring equipment, or do I need to rent it?

I come with cinema-grade cameras, professional lighting, and audio gear. For most projects, I provide everything needed to capture and deliver a polished video. If a project requires highly specialized equipment such as cranes, drones, or advanced cinema lenses, I have strong industry connections and can source the right gear for you.

How much do you charge for videography?

Pricing depends on the type and scale of the project. A commercial or branded documentary involves different resources than a wedding or a corporate livestream. What I guarantee is fair and transparent pricing. Once I give you a quote, that is the price. I do not add hidden fees, taxes, or tips on top.

Do you provide raw footage?

Yes. Many of my clients request raw footage, and I provide it upon request. Some clients only want raw footage without editing, while others hire me just for editing services. I am flexible and can adapt to your needs.

Do you provide editing-only services?

Yes. If you already have footage but need a professional edit, I can handle that. I work in industry-standard programs such as DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro and provide polished videos with sound design, graphics, and color correction.

Do you provide post-production and VFX services?

Yes. In addition to videography, I have a strong background in post-production and VFX. I work in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Fusion. My experience includes editing, sound design, motion graphics, and advanced visual effects work. This means I can take a project from filming all the way through post-production in-house, which saves time and ensures consistency in quality. Clients who only need editing or VFX services can also hire me for post work alone.

How fast can I get my video back?

Turnaround depends on the scale of the video and my availability. I always try to deliver quickly and work with clients to meet deadlines. For example, I once delivered an hour-and-a-half event video within 24 hours. The faster I receive all the necessary materials from you such as logos, fonts, music preferences, and feedback, the faster I can deliver the finished video.

What is your typical process when working with new clients?

I start with a meeting, either in person, on a call, or on video chat, to fully understand your vision. After filming, I provide a first draft by the agreed deadline. I use Frame.io, which lets clients comment directly on the video timeline so revisions are quick and clear. Once the final cut is approved, I deliver the finished video along with raw footage if requested.

Do you have experience with big brands?

Yes. I have worked with clients such as Nike, Paramount, and Syngenta, as well as nonprofits, motivational speakers, and small businesses. I bring the same level of professionalism to projects of any size.

What is your filmmaking background?

I am an award-winning filmmaker with a BFA in film production from CU Boulder. I have directed narrative short films, documentaries, and commercial work. I use that same storytelling and technical expertise to create compelling client videos.

Can you help me with scripting and creative direction?

Yes. Many clients come to me with only a rough idea. I can help shape the concept into a script or outline, plan the production, and ensure the video connects with your audience.

Do you offer live streaming and broadcast services?

Yes. I provide live streaming services for events, meetings, and conferences, and I can also prepare content for broadcast. I also livestream funeral and memorial services. Many families have relatives across the country or overseas who cannot attend in person, and livestreaming allows them to be part of the service. I approach these projects with professionalism and sensitivity, so families can focus on the moment while I handle the technical side.

Do you offer same-day edits or rush services?

Yes, when planned ahead. I can turn around smaller projects in 24 to 48 hours if necessary. Larger branded documentaries and corporate films require more time, but I always do my best to work with deadlines.

Do you offer drone videography?

I do not personally fly drones, but I work with licensed drone operators in Albuquerque and across New Mexico. If your project requires aerial footage, I can bring in one of my trusted collaborators to capture it. One of my strengths is having strong industry connections. If your video needs a specialist of any kind, from drone pilots to makeup artists to motion graphics designers, I know the right people and can build the team to get it done.

What should clients think about before hiring a videographer?

Some good questions to consider include:

  • What story do you want to tell?

  • Who is your audience?

  • How much time will they give you?

  • Are there specific videos you would like to model yours after?

  • Do you need a teleprompter, graphics, or other support?

Having clarity on these points will help me deliver the best possible video for your project.
